The Barn is a solid Georgian and listed building attached to a beautiful farmhouse, situated in a charming, peaceful neighbourhood. A secluded garden situated in the rear of The Barn is a sun trap and a perfect host for plants, fruit and all manner of nature. Entering the property you will find that the interior is aglow with space and light. Floors of shining elm sweep from airy kitchen and dining at one end to wide leather chesterfields and flat-screen TV at the other, as an elegant spiral central stair breaks up the space. Blinds and curtains come in bright stripes and cheerful florals, sturdy beams soar above, and the hall's crafted coat and boot stand sets the tone: this is no run-of-the-mill renovation but a striking modern space. With the perfect mix between modern minimalism, and rustic beauty.
This is the perfect peaceful, romantic getaway.
The bedroom situated on the mezzanine, an up-in-the-eaves retreat, cosy and wonderfully romantic, with a superb mattress and a feather duvet (there's non-allergenic bedding if you prefer it). This elegant space is enough to set your mind to rest and give you the perfect nights sleep. Woken by natures alarm through the sky lights, this room is our favourite. Ideal for a great nights sleep or even an afternoon read. Plus with the kitchen just below, breakfast in bed has never been easier.
The Living Room
It's as though you never left home. The living room features two beautiful leather sofas, a coffee table laden with magazines, papers and information guides to the local towns. With a flatscreen TV and free WiFi, this space is a hub for relaxing, reading and watching films. Plus the huge rug on the floor will keep your feet lovely and cosy too.
